Roads & Park Department

The Roads Department is responsible for maintaining the Township Road System which consists of 62.66 miles of roadway. PennDOT maintains 8.01 miles of State Highway within the Township (Rt. 272 and Rt. 372).

The Roads Department duties include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Snow and Ice Removal and Other Winter Maintenance
  • Repairs & Maintenance of Roads, Bridges & Culverts
  • Road Construction
  • Mowing Roadways and Removing Trees and Debris
  • Maintaining Township Equipment and Buildings
  • Park Maintenance and Reservations
